Kan-ichi Kanzaki (Tamura) is an owner physician. He does not win a very good reputation arond the neighborhood since he doesn't prescribe medication easily and often preaches parents who spoil their children. He is a very strict person who scolds other families' children with bad behavior, and even yells at couples who flirt in front of the public. His wife, Miyako (Kuroki), is tidy an sophisticated wife who takes care of everything perfectly at home, and even better, she never complains about her tyrannical husband. Her little comments like "Aren't you hungry?" often resolves fights between the entire family.

One day, their 2nd child, Suzu (Hirosue) announced that she would get married to Hiroshi (Oikawa) whom she met a a party two weeks ago. of course, Tamura gets upset, but things turn out to be...

Having the famous Japanese actor Tamura playing this extremely strict and stubborn father adds a strong flavor to this comedy. As the morality level become so low that the crimes committed by young adults have increased sharply, this comedy tells audiences what happiness is really about and what a family means for each other.
