Roadrunner) and writing school reports.  Had two joysticks.

All-one-piece computer, tiny B&W screen.  Apple System 6, in Spanish.  
Playing games, writing reports, a little bit of art.

Junior high computer lab, first programming experience, in BASIC.

Donated to our family when we returned from Spain.  E-mail, coding in
Hypercard, gopher and web surfing.  Warez.  First computer with a CD-ROM
drive.

Apple and clones, mostly administered by my brother.

Installed a network card.  Took this one to college.  Telnet, web design, CGI
with perl, MUDding.

For a few years.  Anyways, "the network is the computer"!  Worked off various
shell accounts.

Built my own computer to install Linux, Red Hat.  1.7 GHz Intel, 256 MB RAM.  
First flat screen, DVD-ROM drive.

EEEPC 701
Bought at the birth of second daughter to complete schoolwork at the hospital. 
7-inch screen, diminutive keyboard, webcam, Windows XP, super-portable.

SAMSUNG N-148
School computer that became mine after 3 years. Black, bought a matching white 
for Jodi. Windows XP, super-portable, replaced the battery once.

Bought with grant from school. Regret buying a Mac.
