Long Vacation Episode #5-Sena realizes what he just did and apologizes (u know, he shy guy)
but Ryoko says to him "I'll stay here. Im going to stay here with u."
Minami finally smiles.
-Minami at Ramen shop with Shinji. Minami asks how r things with Ru.
He says fine. Minami tells him that Ryoko is with Sena now. Shinji is
disappointed.
-Minami comes home. Sena is talking on phone with Ryoko and doesnt
realize that she is back. After, he hangs up, he starts jumping up and
down because he is soooo happy. He finally notices that she is home
and was watching him jumping aroud like an idiot and is a bit
embarrassed (face expression is soo damn cute in this scene--note from
Nip). Sena and Minami drink wine to celebrate his get together with
Ryoko.
-Minami is at an interview(same place as previous interview...2nd
call).Interviewer has a pic of her modelling in a bikini from a couple
of yrs back. (they just wanted to embarass her). She pissed and is
walking without looking and bumps into Sugisaki again. (His camera
didnt drop this time...@)) They talk at his office-place. He tells her
that he used to be her fan when she was famous model. Minami is very
happy. He gives her 2 tickets to a Ben Fold Five's live, saying he got
them but cant go no more cause he has a shooting that day. Minami is
disappointed cause she thought he was going to go with her. Then he
gets a phone call and his hooting is cancelled. So he asks for one
back so he can go with her. Minami is happy.
-Ryoko and Sena is at their date.(movie theatre). He tries to hold her
hand but is nervous and cant. after that, they r eating dinner at very
nice restaurant. They talk bout their fave scenes of movie. They have
contrast of opinion (eg: the scene where he thought was funny she
thought it wasnt and scene she thought was funny, he didnt remember
it).He brings her back to her apt. He asks her when should we go again
but Ryoko says that she will be busy for a month cause she has piano
competition. She will call him when she has a free time. Sena is
disappointed.
-Sena comes back to his apt. Minami is wearing her modelling costumes
from when she was in her 20s. She is all happy and excited and jumping
up and down. She tells him bout Sugisaki and he is a handsome
cameraman who used to be her fan blah blah blha.... Minami asks how
was his date. He tells her bout their differences in the fave scenes
in movie and how she said she will call when she is free. Minami says
that is kinda scary cause u never know when she will be free and u
feel that u might have to wait forever. But she told him that she
will call soon and reassured him.
-Next day. Momoko and Minami talking.Momoko thinks that Sena is with
Ryoko and Minami is with Sugisaki so they shouldnt be living together
no more. Mi asks "u think?" she doesnt agree or disagree with Momoko.
Momoko asks her what exactly is relation of her and Sena?
-Sena calls Ryoko to go out again. She agrees. When Ryoko hangs up the
phone, she outs on the radio and Ben Folds Five is on. She remembers
the night Shinji kissed her....(flshback)...They kiss while Ben Fold
Five is on radio and Ryoko asks who is this? and SHinji tells her its
Ben Folds Five....(flashback is done)......The radio starts to talk
bout Ben FOlds Five's live concert date and place and Ryoko writes the
info on paper.
-Ru gets 2 Ben Folds Five tickets to go with Shinji.
-Minami asks Sena what is our relationship. He doesnt know either. He
makes up some metaphor."One day u moved. there was a big electricity
pole in fromt of your new house. U didnt like it at first but soon u
didnt mind it being there." (whatever that means--note from Nip)
-Ben Folds Five live day!! Minami with Sugisaki and is bout to go in
when she sees Ryoko buying a ticket from a guy on the street. Then,
they see Shinji with Ru. Ryoko lies to Shinji bout coming alone and
pretends she came with Minami (she came cause Shinji likes Ben Folds
Five). Minami realizes that maybe Ryoko still likes SHinji.
-That night, Sena gets a call from Ryoko who says she wanted to talk
with him and wants him to come over right away. (she sounded like she
was crying on the phone). Minami knows something is wrong and that
Sena might get dumped. So Minami is worried and drives Sena to Ryoko's
apt. On the drive to her apt, Minami says she has an uneasy feeling
and tells him not to go. Sena realizes she knows something and is
hiding it. So she tells him that she saw Ryoko at Ben Folds Five live
and that Shinji was there and since Ryoko isnt the type of person who
would listen to Ben Folds Five she might be there to see him ot
something. Sena realizes there is definately something going on. When
they get there, Minami goes back to their apt. During her drive back,
she cant stop thinking that Sena is in trouble so she does a U-turn
and goes back to Ryoko's apt.
-When Ryoko opens the door, Sena hugs her. She looks really sad and
wont say anything. Sena is like"what? what is it?" She finally speaks.
"I'm sorry..... I like someone else....I can't go out with u any more."
