Episode Eight

There was only one week left before summer would be over. As usual, Nagisa #2 was busy and Hiromi and Kaito had no time to rest. But on the other hand, Yusuke and Yuko sat in Nagisa, too sad to think about that fact that their vacation would be over soon. Yusuke was bothered by the fact that his test scores were really low. Yuko wanted to go to Disneyland really bad. Yuko asked Makoto when Hiromi and Kaito would be leaving. Yuko thought that the two would leave after the summer vacation was over. This really started bothering Makoto, who thought that the two would never leave. She didn't want to think about it. But Kaito was also thinking about it.

Hiromi goes to help Yusuke with his problem but Yusuke tells him , "I am different than you!". Hiromi is shocked at this. This time, Kaito goes to help Yusuke. He tells Yusuke, "I may be working here now but I used to be an elite businessman" and this surprises Yusuke. Kaito volunteers to help Yusuke study for the big test. Yusuke tells Kaito that he said something really bad to Hiromi but Kaito said, "Don't worry. He won't think much of it". Yusuke comes over to Diamondhead at night and the two go upstairs to study. On the other hand, Makoto and Hiromi decide to make a meal for them. It was then that Makoto felt that Hiromi and Kaito's presence was necessary and that she didn't want them to leave.

While studying with Kaito, Yusuke asks, "When you were a high school student, did you ever worry about your future?" Kaito replies "Of course, everyone worries about their future" and after hearing this, Yusuke is relieved. Since Yusuke and Kaito are studying in their room, Hiromi has nowhere to go and decides to iron out the clothes downstairs while talking to Makoto. Makoto asks him, "When you were a high school student, how were the summer vacations for you?" and Hiromi replies that he had to concentrate on swimming all the time. "The summer vacation was already over when I was about to think about it." He tells Makoto that he wants to feel the end of the summer vacation at Diamondhead. When Masaru starts playing that slow tune on the guitar outside, Hiromi, Kaito, Yusuke, and Makoto all listen on, while thinking about what to do after the summer vacation ends.

Time passes and it is already August 30th. Yusuke comes to Diamondhead with the good news that he did well on the test. He thanks Kaito and Makoto for the help, and last but not least, thanks Hiromi for the delicious meals.

At night, Hiromi and Kaito go outside and talk about their plans after the summer vacation ends. Hiromi tells Kaito, "When I feel that my summer vacation has ended, then I will think of what I'll do." Kaito feels that the two can't stay here forever but like Hiromi, he hasn't thought about what to do. Makoto hears this from outside and is relieved that the two wouldn't be leaving anytime soon. Makoto brings them beers and when the two open the cans, it sprays all over their faces. They catch Makoto and throw her in the ocean.

The next day, which happens to be the last day of summer, over at Nagisa, Yuko begs Hiromi to take her to Disneyland. Haruko also agrees. Yusuke at first didn't feel like going but since his tests were over, he also agreed. So Haruko, Makoto,Yuko,Yusuke,Kaito,Hiromi, and Hazuki all decided to go to Disneyland. They left a note to Masaru and left. Masaru came back and was shocked. But while driving, the car suddenly stops because of gasoline shortage and the seven of them all have to push the car. But they all knew that the summer vacation wasn't over yet.
