BEACH BOYS
Sakurai Hiromi(Sorimachi Takashi) is kicked out by his
girlfriend.Suzuki Kaito(Takenouchi Yutaka) fails while working on a project.Both of them
meet at Diamondhead, a resort, to alleviate their pressures. But as time goes by, both of
them realize that they couldn't leave Diamondhead so easily.

He decides to go to the ocean to find work since it was summer.He finds Diamondhead, a resort, and thought it was the perfect place to work at.But it wasn't easy getting the owner to allow him to work part-time there. |

who is very calm and not so emotional.He acted blank most of the time. Because of a small
mistake,he is forces to quit a project he was working on.He decides to go to the ocean to
alleviate his pressures and anxieties.He meets Hiromi at Diamondhead, but didn't take him
seriously at first because of his attitude. |

Makoto is a second-year high
school student. When she was in fifth grade, her parent divorced.She decides to live with
her grandfather, Masaru, at Diamondhead.At first, she didn't take Kaito and Hiromi
seriously. |

Haruko is the owner of Nagisa, a snack bar. She graduated from a preparatory school, worked as an office lady for 3 years, and returned to Diamondhead. She treats Makoto like a sister. For some reason, she always waits for a letter from somebody. |

Sakura is Kaito's girlfriend and works at the same company as him.She could sense something wrong with Kaito after the mistake he made with the project but couldn't do anything to help him. | |

The owner of the resort, Diamondhead.He was also Makoto's grandfather. He wasn't very sociable, but would become amiable if you opened your heart to him. During his younger days, he fooled around a lot and surfed as a hobby. Hiromi and Kaito respect him because of his lifestyle. |
